We are Drs. Mikey and Rivka Lebrett, a married couple who made Aliyah from the UK with our young family. Mikey works at the Weizmann Institute conducting postdoctoral research, and Rivka is a family medicine trainee with Clalit.

When Rivka began working shortly after our Aliyah, she found herself struggling to navigate an unfamiliar healthcare system, culture, and language on her own. Feeling overwhelmed and isolated, she founded the Anglo Doctors in Israel Community in search of supportive peers who could truly understand her experience. What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a vibrant network of hundreds of English-speaking doctors who support each other and navigate the system together every day.

Through the community, Rivka met more and more incredible olim doctors. At the same time, she was frequently asked by family and friends to help find trusted English-speaking doctors. It became clear that someone needed to bridge the gap between Anglo doctors and Anglo patients.

Together, we created the Anglo Doctors in Israel Directory, an online platform showcasing outstanding Anglo doctors across the country. It connects patients with doctors, and also enables doctors to connect with one another, build networks, and strengthen their professional paths in Israel.

We believe this resource can make a real difference by helping English-speakers to access quality healthcare with greater ease and confidence, while supporting olim doctors in building strong networks and advancing their professional careers in Israel.
