These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the “Contact Doctor” / “Email Doctor” function in the Anglo Doctors in Israel directory (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using this function, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

Anglo Doctors in Israel provides a directory service to help patients find and contact English-speaking doctors in Israel.

The “Contact Doctor” function is designed primarily to help patients request a private medical consultation/appointment with a doctor listed in the directory. Anglo Doctors in Israel does not provide medical advice, treatment, or referrals.

2. Message Routing

Before submitting a message, you must select what you are contacting the doctor about:

A) Private consultation (intended use)

If you select “Private consultation”, your message is routed to the doctor’s contact email address as provided in their profile.

Administrators do not have access to, read, or store the content of messages routed to doctors. We only collect limited metadata (see Section 5) for security and abuse prevention.

B) Other issue

If you select “Other issue”, your message is routed only to Anglo Doctors in Israel administrators and will not be sent to the doctor.

We may not respond to messages sent via “Other issue”, and we cannot guarantee a reply.

3. Restrictions on content sent via “Other issue”

There should never be a case where you submit sensitive personal data or medical/health information after selecting “Other issue.” You agree that you will not send medical or sensitive information via the “Other issue” route, including (for example) symptoms, diagnoses, test results, medications, medical history, identifying numbers, or any other health-related content.

If your message relates to medical care, appointments, or a private consultation, you must select “Private consultation” so your message is routed to the doctor.

4. Message transmission and access

Messages are transmitted through Wix using automated email functionality.

For Private consultation: the message is sent to the doctor.
For Other issue: the message is sent to our administrators and may be reviewed for the limited purpose of operating the safeguard and maintaining platform safety.

Anglo Doctors in Israel does not provide a secure messaging service. Please do not include sensitive personal or medical information unless you are comfortable sharing it directly with the doctor by email.

We cannot guarantee that any message will be received, read, or replied to by the doctor.

5. Collection and use of metadata

To operate the system securely and prevent spam and abuse, we collect limited technical and routing metadata, including:

Your email address
The doctor you attempted to contact
The reason selected (Private consultation / Other issue)
The date and time of the attempted message
reCAPTCHA verification status
System logs required for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention

We may store this metadata for security, fraud prevention, service integrity, and platform safety purposes.

6. Follow-up contact and survey consent

By using the “Contact Doctor” function, you consent to Anglo Doctors in Israel contacting you at the email address (and/or phone number if provided) after your message is submitted to request feedback about your experience (for example, a short survey about whether contact was successful).

You may ignore any survey request or ask us not to contact you again for feedback.

7. No medical liability

Any communication, advice, appointment, or treatment that results from contacting a doctor through our directory is strictly between you and that doctor.

Anglo Doctors in Israel does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the medical qualifications, advice, or services provided by any doctor listed.

We accept no liability for any medical, professional, or personal outcomes that may result from using the “Contact Doctor” function.

8. Appropriate use and rate limits

You agree to use the “Contact Doctor” function only for legitimate purposes.

You must not use the service for spam, harassment, marketing, recruitment, networking, or inappropriate messages.

To protect doctors and prevent misuse, the system limits each user to:

a maximum of 3 total messages per 24-hour period, and
a maximum of 3 different doctors per 24-hour period.

Anglo Doctors in Israel reserves the right to restrict or block access if the function is misused.

9. Privacy

Your message is delivered by email to the selected recipient (doctor or administrators, depending on your selection).

If you select “Other issue”, do not include medical or sensitive health information.

10. Changes to Terms

Anglo Doctors in Israel may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
