Dr. Adam Farkash – Specialist in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (Angiography)
Dr. Adam Farkash is Director of the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and founder of its Vascular Anomalies Clinic and VIR Fellowship Program.
Trained at the University of California, San Francisco, and Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard), Dr. Farkash specializes in minimally invasive image-guided procedures using micro-catheters—often performed without general anesthesia or surgical scars, allowing same-day recovery.
Since making Aliyah in 2012, he has introduced advanced interventional radiology techniques to Israel and helped establish Shaare Zedek as the national leader in vascular anomaly care and embolization. He lectures internationally and is regarded as one of Israel’s foremost experts in his field.
