Dr. Alexis Karlin is a senior Pediatric Neurologist specializing in child neurology and child development. She trained at leading centers in the United States, including Harvard University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she completed her residency in pediatric neurology and served as chief resident. She then completed a subspecialty fellowship in the genetics of epilepsy and developmental conditions, including developmental delay and autism.
After making Aliyah in 2023, Dr. Karlin joined the Pediatric Neurology Department at Schneider Children’s Medical Center and works within Clalit as a Child Development specialist. She is active in the international CACNA1A Foundation and has authored research on hemiplegic migraine related to these genes.
Dr. Karlin provides neurological consultations for a wide range of pediatric conditions, including epilepsy, first-time seizures, tics, headaches, and stroke-like episodes.
