Dr. Gideon Paul is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist and Head of Cardiac Prevention at Shamir Medical Center. He specializes in preventing heart attacks and stroke by catching risk factors early, things like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and excess weight, rather than treating heart disease after it develops.

With 20 years of experience treating complex heart conditions and advanced training in cardiac imaging (CT and MRI), Dr. Paul takes a proactive approach to heart health. He has a special interest in patients with a family history of heart disease and in reversing metabolic syndrome through better nutrition and, when needed, medication.

His career spans leading hospitals in Israel and the UK, including training at St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital in London and a fellowship in Toronto. He trained at University College London Medical School and is fluent in English and Hebrew.

Dr. Paul offers a full range of cardiac care, from angiography and stenting to heart health screening, stress testing, and lifestyle-based prevention programs.
