BIO:
Dr. Gilbert Grant is an anesthesiologist with a 40-year career at New York University Medical Center, where he spent 31 years as Director of Obstetric Anesthesia. A pioneer in pain management, he has developed and published innovative techniques for treating pain, including the first reported use of the sphenopalatine ganglion block for headache and postoperative pain. After making aliyah in 2023, Dr. Grant now practices in the Tel Aviv area, continuing his lifelong commitment to relieving pain and advancing patient care. Dr Grant runs a headache and migraine clinic 'Rosh Ragua'.
Rosh Ragua offers a safe, medication-free approach to headache relief using a simple nasal anesthetic technique that blocks pain nerves (SphenoPalatine Ganglion Block (SPGB)). Effective since 1908, the clinic empowers patients to manage headaches independently—even during pregnancy and breastfeeding—with compassionate, personalized care and house call options.
