ABOUT THE DOCTOR
Dr. Jakob Nowotny is a senior vascular surgeon at Shaare Tzedek Hospital with extensive international training and academic involvement.
He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and went on to complete fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem, where he later served as a senior surgeon. In 2014, he undertook advanced training and clinical fellowships at leading institutions in New York, including Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Nowotny is an active member of the Israeli Vascular Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He serves as Global Faculty Member, presenter, and Chair of the Vascular Program at the ICI Annual Conference in Tel Aviv, and is part of the teaching faculty at the VEITH vascular conference.
His work combines advanced surgical expertise, academic leadership, and ongoing contribution to the international vascular community.
