Dr Joseph Djemal trained in London and made Aliyah in 1988. Since then, he has made an enormous contribution to Israel’s healthcare system. Shortly after arriving, he co founded Terem, Israel’s urgent care clinic network. He later served as Terem’s CEO from 2003 to 2012 and played a central role in establishing branches across the country.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Djemal has a long standing interest in group relations and organisational development. He has been a member of OFEK since 2001, and served on its leadership as a board member and treasurer from 2010 to 2014.

Today, Dr Djemal is a highly experienced and compassionate family physician with Maccabi, and also sees patients privately.
