BIO:
Dr. Leon Gillman is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who treats a wide range of conditions affecting the face, mouth, and jaws.
Originally from London, England, Dr. Gillman earned his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Medical and Dental School in 2000, followed by his MFDS surgical qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002.
After making Aliyah in 2005, he completed his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson Hospital) in 2012. He then returned to the UK for a fellowship at King’s College Hospital, London, where he further specialized in orthognathic (jaw realignment) surgery and surgical management of jaw joint disorders, including arthroscopy and total joint replacement.
Since returning to Israel in 2013, Dr. Gillman has served as Lead Clinician for Orthognathic and TMJ Surgery at the Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson Hospital. He manages complex cases of jaw discrepancy, facial asymmetry, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, using the latest technologies and surgical techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
In addition, he treats facial trauma, oral and jaw diseases, and routinely performs procedures such as bone grafting, biopsies, sinus lifts, wisdom tooth extractions, and dental implant placements.
Dr. Gillman is also a lecturer at Tel Aviv University School of Dentistry, and a member of the Israeli Dental Association, the Israeli Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He is known for his calm and patient-centered approach, ensuring that each person fully understands their treatment plan and feels comfortable throughout the process, from consultation to recovery.
