Dr. Bayme was born in New York, USA, and earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his medical degree from New York University.

He completed his residency in General Surgery at Harvard University’s Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, where he later served as a senior physician and clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School. He subsequently moved to Houston, Texas, where he practiced as a private surgeon and served as a professor at the University of Texas.

Since making Aliyah in 1999, Dr. Bayme has been practicing as a General and Breast Surgeon at Soroka Medical Center and lectures at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, one of the early members of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, a member of the Israeli Surgical Association, and the Israeli Breast Disease Society. He has pursued extensive advanced training in innovative surgical techniques, including oncoplastic surgery and breast and abdominal ultrasound, with courses in the United States and France.

Dr. Bayme is married, a father of four and grandfather of two, and continues to serve as an active IDF reservist with the rank of Major. He is committed to providing dedicated, professional, and compassionate care, and has received both local and international recognition for excellence in patient service.
