Prior to moving to Israel in 2020, Professor Rubin was consistently recognized as a “Best Doctor” by Castle Connolly and New York Super Doctors for more than 20 years. He graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cornell Medical Center, and then completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Columbia University Medical Center, where he remained on the faculty for many years. He later served as Division Chief and Director of Fellowship Training at Cornell.

Professor Rubin’s approach to patient care is highly personalized. He focuses on understanding each patient as an individual, beginning with a careful history and detailed review of symptoms, followed by a comprehensive physical examination and the development of a targeted diagnostic and treatment plan.

A leading expert in advanced endoscopy, Prof. Rubin has extensive experience in both routine and complex procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, deep enteroscopy, and Double Balloon Enteroscopy. When appropriate, he may recommend additional diagnostic tests such as laboratory evaluation, ultrasound, CT imaging, or specialist endoscopic examinations.

Following diagnosis, Prof. Rubin provides a full therapeutic plan and continues to follow patients throughout treatment and recovery, ensuring ongoing care until no further monitoring is required.
