Dr. Sara Whitefield is a specialist in Oral Medicine with over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating diseases of the mouth. She completed her dental training at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital in London and her specialty training in Oral Medicine at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Whitefield treats a wide range of oral conditions, including viral, chronic, and autoimmune diseases. She has extensive experience in the removal of oral lesions, management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and supportive care for oncology patients to relieve oral side effects during cancer treatment.

She is a senior physician in the Oral Medicine Unit within the Department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery at Ichilov Hospital (Sourasky Medical Center) in Tel Aviv. There, she runs a joint clinic with the Dermatology Department for the diagnosis and treatment of complex autoimmune conditions such as lichen planus, pemphigus, and pemphigoid.

She is fluent in English and Hebrew and accepts referrals from dentists and other healthcare professionals.
