ABOUT THE DOCTOR
Jacob L. Freedman MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and a psychotherapist based in Jerusalem. He is the author of four books and countless columns on the topic of mental health in the Jewish community as well as a popular lecturer both in Israel and abroad.
After completing his training as an award-winning Chief Resident at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Dr. Freedman and his wife followed their life-long dream and made Aliyah to Israel with their family. When he’s not busy with his patients, Dr. Freedman can be found learning Torah in The Old City of Jerusalem or hiking the hills outside of Jerusalem.
